Material – We all know that denim is made from cotton so that is not what I mean by material here. There are many types of cotton and weaves of cotton that determine the feel and strength. Fit – This is the most difficult of all the choices and types of jeans available to women. It can be broken up in the following ways:

• Seat – I think that this is the most important part. If this part of the jeans (around your buttocks and waist and front pelvic area) fit your really well then the hard part is over. Other parts of the jeans can be modified. Don’t forget that pockets play a big part in making your bum look good or not.
• Leg – This refers to the length of the jeans as well as the shape of the leg. When it comes to womens jeans, the overall length is not crucial, it does not need to be very long or very short unless you require it to be tailored due to your height. The more commonly known types of leg are boot cut, regular and skinny. The leg can be the same size top to bottom or change from the top and be a different size at the bottom
• Rise – The rise of a pair of jeans for women means the height of that section of jeans from crotch to the top of the waist band. You can get traditional rise, low rise or high waisted.

Levis – This brand, without a doubt, is the most well known and the original jeans brand. Everyone will have at least one of these in their lifetime and some will keep their Levis for many many years. This is because it feels like a second skin to them and some of their styles are true classics while some go with the fashion and are only seasonal. The womens jeans, as well as the mens are identified by a red tag label.

Wrangler – This brand is very old also and I seem to think that they disappeared for a number of years but they are definitely back now. They are identified by their distinct W on their back pockets. Wrangler have a good range and even have a range specifically for riding horses. They are more focused on jeans as work wear.

American Eagle Outfitters -This brand does not just make jeans. They make a whole range of clothing from casual to fashionable. They have walls of jeans in their stores and a good range too. Some are classics but some are also seasonal. There are womens jeans for all types of womens shapes so you are sure to find some for you here. And the sales people are helpful too. I like my girlfriend in these ones the most.

Abercrombie & Fitch – Similar to the above description, this brand makes their own jeans. Also having a wide range and adding and subtracting to that range based upon the seasons and what has become fashionable or not. Their jeans are quite good to and for women and men.

You may have some of these brands of jeans yourself, whether you are a woman or not. Or maybe you are a guy that likes to wear jeans made for women. I know a lot of guys that do this and it is because the shape fits them better. Well, I hope you are better informed than you were before.
