Womens Jeans for Tall Women and Petite Women
It is very difficult to find that perfect pair of jeans – the ones that fit just right, make you feel great when you wear them and are really comfortable. Now that is just for the average and general population. But what about those of us that are taller than most or shorter than most? Spare a thought for them because it is extra hard and a tailor is most likely used to get it right.
There are some companies out there that specially make womens jeans for the tall and petite woman and this is really great. But it must be said that most of the time they are not up with the latest jeans fashion – so what is a fashion-conscious woman to do?
As I mentioned earlier there is tailoring. After purchasing your jeans you then need to take them to another place and have them altered. Sometimes the store where you bought them has a service and can organize this for you – this makes it easy and you know that the person who is going to alter them for you works on this type of clothing often.
The petite woman has to make sure she finds a pair of jeans that goes with her figure. Certain styles are better for the curvy and some are better suited to the slim women. The same rules apply with as with the average height person in terms of color and material and style.
For tall women there are now a few stores that cater for your length – for want of a better word. The trends in fashion when it comes to jeans sit better on taller women because there is enough ‘time’ for the style to sit right. The length of the leg is the most important factor. Many jeans manufacturers make jeans that are longer anyway and sometimes no alterations are required.
The best thing to do, is that when you find the perfect pair, do not buy just one, you must buy at least two if not more. This will mean that you do not end up frustrated again in another few years. Womens jeans are just great when you find them because they can be dressed up or down and you won’t have to go looking for dress pants and have troubles with that.
As I have written here, when it comes to fashion and women and jeans in combination with tall and petite, things are not so easy. If you know the right brands that cater for you and the right styles, then life can be a lot easier.
